- 作品解説: 山の頂上には青葉が茂り、少し下あたりから手前の道に至るまで桜が何本か満開を迎えている。手前の二人の人物のいる景色と頂上付近の山とは分断されているが、頂上の滝が、手前の川となってつながっている。薄墨や薄めた緑青を用いて淡い色の塊をつくり、最後に墨書きで描きおこしていく方法が採られている。春のうららかな一日、さぞや旅人も気持ち良い旅を続けているのだろう。Description: The top of the mountain is covered with green leaves, and several cherry trees are in full bloom from a short distance below to the road in the foreground. The two figures in the foreground are separated from the mountain near the summit, but the waterfall at the top is connected to the river in the foreground. The artist used light sumi ink and diluted greenish blue to create a mass of pale colors, and then used sumi ink to draw in the final stages of the painting. On a bright spring day, the traveler must be enjoying a pleasant journey.
