- 作品解説: 月に雁は広重の浮世絵やそれを取り上げた切手があまりにも有名である。本画も広重の構図にかなり近い。しかし雁は一羽でその態勢がわずかに異なる。もしかすると、注文主によるリクエストがあり、そこに秀畝らしさを加味して制作されたのかもしれない。Description: Geese on the Moon is so well known in Hiroshige's ukiyoe prints and postage stamps featuring it. This painting is quite similar to Hiroshige's composition. However, one of the geese is in a slightly different posture. Perhaps the artist had a request from the client, and added Hideo's style to it.
