- 作品解説: 雪松と鴛鴦（おしどり）の組み合わせは、掛軸だけでなく、茶碗の絵付けなどにも多くみることのできる題材である。松に積もる雪は描き残し、ちらつく雪は胡粉の白、という具合に白色を使い分けている。鴛鴦の柔らかい水紋は秀畝の得意とするところである。Description: The combination of a snowy pine tree and a mandarin duck can be seen not only in hanging scrolls but also in paintings for tea bowls. The snow piled up on the pine tree is left as it is, while the flickering snow is painted with white powder. The soft water pattern of the mandarin duck is one of Hidempo's specialties.
