- 作品解説: 薄と昼顔が描かれていることから、9月の終わりぐらいであろうか。薄の葉や昼顔には琳派風のたらし込み技法による暈しが使われている。薄の葉の曲線に呼応するかのように昼顔の蔓が曲線をつくっているところもよく練られた構図となっている。Description: This work was probably painted around the end of September, since it depicts thin leaves and day glories. The leaves and day glories are decorated with vertigo using the Rimpa-style tarashikomi technique. The curving lines of the day glory vine, as if responding to the curving lines of the leaves, are also well thought out in the composition.
