- 歯科医師であり、写真家でもある緑川洋一（1915-2001）は、日本大学歯科医学校で学んだ後、1937年に故郷に戻り、歯科医院を開業。39年以降、在学中に覚えた写真を再開し、中国地方の写真家・石津良介、植田正治らの「中国写真家集団」に参加。雑誌『写真サロン』などに作品を投稿した。戦後は50年頃から女性を被写体とした作品にも取り組む。色彩と光にあふれた風景写真を得意として、多重露光やネガの重ね焼きなどの技法を用いた幻想的な作品で知られる。Yoichi Midorikawa (1915-2001), a dentist and photographer, studied at Nihon University Dental School before returning to his hometown in 1937 to open a dental clinic. 39 later, he resumed photography, which he had learned while at school, and joined the "China Photographers Group" led by Ryosuke Ishizu and Shoji Ueda, photographers from the Chinese region. He contributed his works to "Shashin Salon" magazine and other publications. After the war, from around 1950, he began to work with women as his subjects. His specialty is landscape photography full of color and light, and he is known for his fantastic works using techniques such as multiple exposures and over-glazing of negatives.
