- 天竺に渡って華陽夫人と化した悪狐は、この国の王である班足王の寵愛（ちょうあい）を受けます。本図は、華陽夫人が班足王を諌（いさ）める采姫を讒言（ざんげん）によって陥れ、王の面前で樹に縛りつけ采姫の眼・耳・口を矢で射抜いてなぶり殺しにするという残虐な場面です。画想を借用した『画本玉藻譚』には遠景が描かれません。ここでは国芳独特のうねるような白雲がたなびく空をバックに異国風の建物を背景に添え、さらに強烈な色彩やことさら強調した陰影表現を施しています。<BR/><br/><br/>【江戸の絵画】The evil fox, who became Madame Huayang after crossing over to Jersey, was favored by the king of the land, King Huanzoku. In this brutal scene, Lady Huayang is accused of slander against Princess Hui, who admonishes King Hantoku, and is tied to a tree in front of the king, and her eyes, ears, and mouth are shot out with arrows to kill her. The "Gahon Tamomotan," from which the idea was borrowed, does not depict a distant scene. In this painting, Kuniyoshi's signature undulating white clouds flutter in the sky, with exotic buildings in the background, and the use of intense colors and highly emphasized shadows. <BR/><BR/><BR/>Paintings of Edo
