- 膨大な数の錦絵を手がける一方、葛飾北斎には地図作者としての側面もありました。少なくとも4種類の鳥瞰図、「東海道名所一覧」「唐土名所の絵」「総房海陸勝景奇覧」そしてこの「木曽路名所一覧」が確認されます。起点である江戸は左下隅に位置し、街道は、実際の地理的状況を全く無視した形で複雑な屈曲を繰り返して、終点である京都に向かいます。<br/><br/>【古地図】【江戸の絵画】While working on a vast number of nishiki-e, Katsushika Hokusai also had a side as a mapmaker. At least four bird's-eye views can be identified: "Tokaido Meisho no Ichiran," "Karato Meisho no E," "Sobo Kairiku Shoukei Kiran," and this "Kisoji Meisho Ichiran.
