- 作品解説: 正式な題名は不明ながら、本作は海岸風景であることが容易に推測できる表現となっている。右手に岩礁、左手には浜辺が連なり、湾曲した向こう側は半島のようになっていて、湘南地方の海を想起させる。空の色も村上らしい、すこし黄土色がかった色彩が含まれ、それが海面にまで反映している。手前の浜には、ヨットらしき白い帆や色とりどりの人物の姿が描かれている。Description: Although the official title of this work is unknown, it is easy to guess that this is a coastal landscape. The reefs on the right, the beach on the left, and the peninsula on the other side of the bend are reminiscent of the sea in the Shonan area. The sky has a slightly ochre color, typical of Murakami, which is reflected on the surface of the sea. On the beach in the foreground are white sails that appear to be yachts and colorful figures.
