- 作品解説: 印象派が発展せた風景画における光の震えは、鑑賞者の視覚世界を拡張したといえるが、村上作品は、より感覚的な色彩とマチエールの震えや揺らぎを推し進め、私たちを別世界へと誘っている。絵具が支持体の厚みを遥に超えているにも関わらず、大きな亀裂や変形が少ないのは一気呵成に描いたことによって良好な接着が得られたためであろう。Description: The trembling of light in the landscapes developed by the Impressionists expanded the viewer's visual world, and Murakami's work invites us into another world by promoting a more sensuous trembling and shimmering of color and matiere.
