- 作品解説: 本作品は、元箱根港付近からの眺めであると思われる。芦ノ湖を左に捉え、画面中央やや下にはボート置き場、リズミカルに木々を配しながらその上方には二子山が見える。人々が軽快に歩みを進めている様も描かれ、その衣服から初夏頃ではないかと思われる。全体に落ち着いた色でまとめられているほか、湖には透明色を重ねて深みのある水の姿を捉えている。Description: This work is thought to be a view from near the port of Moto-Hakone. Lake Ashi is on the left, a boatyard is slightly below the center of the painting, and Futagoyama can be seen above the boatyard with rhythmically arranged trees. People are also depicted walking lightly, and their clothing suggests that it is early summer. The overall color palette is subdued, and the lake is layered with transparent colors to capture the depth of the water.
