- 作品解説: 雌雄二羽の雉とその上には山藤が描かれる初夏の風景。雄の雉は半円の丘を歩きながらこちらを警戒するかのように振り返る。山藤の動きのあるリズムと雉たちの動きが暖かで心地よい季節を演出しているようだ。山藤は長い蔓を伸ばし増えていくことから長寿や子孫繁栄のシンボルとなっている。Description: An early summer scene depicting two male and two female pheasants with mountain wisteria above them. The male pheasant walks along a semicircular hill and looks back at us as if wary. The rhythm of the mountain wisteria and the movement of the pheasants seem to create a warm and comfortable season. The mountain wisteria is a symbol of longevity and prosperity of offspring because of its long and proliferating tendrils.
