- 作品解説: 伊豆の伊東港が描かれている。陰の当たり方をみる限り、正午近くの時間帯のようである。手前に藁ぶきの農家を描き、畑を挟んで向こう側には漁村の密集した家並み、そして南国のような透き通った海が広がる。帆船が一隻海上にあるが、帆は広げておらず、穏やかさを演出しているようだ。水平線左手には千石島が見えるなど、壮大な景色を抒情性豊かに描き上げている。Description: This painting depicts the port of Ito in Izu. The shadows suggest that it is near noon. In the foreground is a straw-floored farmhouse, and across the fields are a dense row of houses in a fishing village and the clear, tropical sea. There is a sailing ship at sea, but its sails are unfurled, seemingly to create a sense of serenity. Sengoku Island can be seen on the left side of the horizon.
