- 作品解説: 俯瞰の構図に画面左上から右下にかけて柿の枝を配し、そこに目白を一羽とまらせる。少し首を傾げながら熟した柿の実をこれから啄もうとしている様子である。紅葉した葉の微妙な色の変化をたらし込みの技法を用いて描き、また柿にはハッチングを使うなど、随所に工夫が見られる。Description: In this overhead composition, a persimmon branch is placed from the upper left to the lower right, and a white-eye perches on it. The bird, tilting its head slightly, is about to peck at a ripe persimmon. The subtle changes in the color of the autumn leaves are depicted using the tarashikomi technique, and hatching is used on the persimmon.
