- 蓋付の大振りの壺で、表面にかけられた青の釉薬が焼成によってなだれることで、独特の色や肌合いの変化を作り出している。作者のラパンは、1928-34年にかけてセーヴル製陶所の美術監督を務めており、多くの器形デザインを行っている。作品タイトルの《ラパンNo.21》は、ラパンによるNo.21のフォルムの意を差しており、同形で異なる装飾や絵付けが施された作品が存在する。The blue glaze on the surface of this large jar with a lid is smoothed by the firing process, creating a unique change in color and texture. The artist, Lapin, was the artistic director of the Sèvres Pottery from 1928 to 1934, and designed many vessels. The title of this work, "Lapin No. 21," refers to the form of Lapin's No. 21, and there are pieces of the same shape with different decorations and paintings.
