- この江戸鳥瞰図は、隅田川の東岸上空から俯瞰したもので、拡大するとびっしりと描きこまれた家屋の合間にカタカナの地名表記もところどころに散りばめられています。3種類ある田善の銅版画シリーズでは中間の大きさのひとつ。これと同じ大きさの作品が他に4点知られています(東叡山勝地図、金龍山浅草寺之図、榎坂溜池之景、佃浦風景)。<br/><br/>【江戸の絵画】This bird's-eye view of Edo (present-day Tokyo) is a bird's-eye view from above the east bank of the Sumida River, and when enlarged, katakana place names can be seen scattered in places in between the houses that have been painted in numerous layers.
