- 喫煙室とは会食のあとに男性たちが煙草や葉巻を燻らせながら歓談する部屋。1階小食堂と同様、床の間のある和室仕様に椅子・テーブルという和洋折衷の部屋であった（喫煙室は1983年の美術館開館時に改修）。The smoking room was a room where men enjoyed chatting over cigarettes and cigars after dinner, and like the small dining room on the first floor, it was a Japanese-style room with an alcove and chairs and tables (the smoking room was renovated when the museum opened in 1983).
