- 「フランス大使館」は、1925年に開催された現代装飾美術・産業美術国際博覧会（通称アール・デコ博覧会）の代表的なパヴィリオンである。フランス大使の住居というコンセプトのもと24の部屋で構成され、アンリ・ラパンをはじめとする当時一線で活躍していた美術家たちが設計や制作を手がけた。直線的形態やモチーフの連続性、メタリックな素材と質感、シンメトリーによる空間構成など、朝香宮邸のデザイン源が見受けられる。The "Embassy of France" is a representative pavilion of the International Exposition of Modern Decorative and Industrial Arts (commonly known as the Art Deco Exposition) held in 1925. It consisted of 24 rooms based on the concept of the French ambassador's residence, and was designed and produced by Henri Lapin and other leading artists of the time. The design source of the Asakamiya residence can be seen in the linear form, the continuity of motifs, the metallic materials and textures, and the symmetrical spatial composition.
