- 作品解説: 北宋後期の山水画家・郭煕（かくき）は、画論書『林泉高致』の中で中国山水画の山を描く際の基本として三遠（高遠、深遠、平遠）を定めたが、この作品は、手前の山から、遠くの山の後方をうかがい見ることで奥行きを画面に感じさせる「深遠」の方法を翠雲は採用している。手前には高士二人が釣り糸を垂らす姿が描かれている。俗世間から離れ釣れようが釣れまいが気にしない、老荘思想を基調としたおおらかな精神性を感じさせる。Description: In his treatise "Linquan Gaochi," a landscape painter of the late Northern Song dynasty, Guo Xi defined three basic principles for depicting mountains in Chinese landscape painting: "high, deep, and flat" (kōyuan, hōyuan, hōyuan). In this work, Suiun uses the "profundity" method. In the foreground, two noblemen are depicted casting a fishing line. The two are far removed from the mundane world and do not care whether they catch a fish or not, evoking a generous spirituality based on Laozhuang philosophy.
