- 作品解説: ロンドンの中心部にある広大なハイドパーク。公園内には大きなサーペンタイン・レイクという人工池があるが、三宅はそこを画面に入れずに広々とした草原を描いている。中央やや右手前に木々を配し、その木陰が画面を引き締めている。凹凸のある水彩画用紙も三宅は時々好んで使用しているが、その際はあまり細かく描きこまずにゆったりとした絵具の塗りを楽しんでいる。Description: The vast Hyde Park in the center of London. The park contains a large man-made pond called Serpentine Lake, but Miyake did not include it in the painting, instead depicting a spacious grassy field. The trees are placed in the center slightly right in the foreground, and their shade tightens the picture. Miyake sometimes likes to use uneven watercolor paper, but when he does, he enjoys applying the paint in a relaxed manner without going into too much detail.
