- 作品解説: 三重県伊賀の名張川を取材した本作は、三宅作品の中でも密度が高い力作の部類に入るだろう。比較的凹凸のはっきりとした水彩用紙にやわらかい鉛筆でおおまかなアウトラインを描いたのち、丁寧に木々や水などを点描で描いている。木々の緑が一部で紅葉し、遠くの山や空の青との配色が美しい。向こう岸には民家らしきものが描かれているが、緑色に溶け込んでいるところにさわやかな詩のようなものを感じることができる。徳島県立近代美術館には 《名張川の投影》 という作品がある。Description: This work, which was created on the Nabari River in Iga, Mie Prefecture, is one of Miyake's densest and most powerful works. The artist drew a rough outline with a soft pencil on relatively uneven watercolor paper, and then carefully dotted the trees and water. The green foliage of some of the trees and the blue of the mountains and sky in the distance create a beautiful color scheme. The painting depicts what appears to be a private house on the other side of the river, but the way it blends in with the green color is like a refreshing poem. The Tokushima Prefectural Museum of Modern Art has another work titled "Projection of the Nabari River.
