- 作品解説: 款記は唐代の詩人司空曙(しくうしょ)の江村即事から採られている。「罷釣帰来不繋船 江村月落正堪眠 縦然一夜風吹去 只在蘆花浅水辺」。以下HP「漢詩の楽しみ」より https://www.epochtimes.jp/jp/2011/10/html/d40691.html 釣りを罷(や)め、帰り来たりて船を繋(つな)がず。江村、月落ちて、正に眠るに堪(た)えたり。縦然(たとい)一夜、風吹き去るとも、只(た)だ蘆花浅水(ろかせんすい)の辺(ほとり)に在らん。 詩に云う。釣りを止めにして戻ってきたが、船を岸辺につなぐ気にはならない。川辺の村に月も落ち、ちょうど眠るによい頃合いだ。たとえ一夜のうちに風が吹いて、自分が眠るこの船が流されてしまったとしてもかまわないよ。どこか蘆の花咲く浅い水辺を漂っているだろうから。 作者の司空曙(しくうしょ、740頃~790頃)は中唐の詩人。姓が司空の、中国では珍しい複姓である。地方で役人をしていた時期もあったが、出世とは無縁の人で、生活は質素といより相当貧乏だったらしい。湖南省あたりを流浪もした。ただ彼は、権力に媚びない潔癖な性格であったらしく、そのような日々を好んで受け入れていた節がある。 そんな作者の心境が、よくうかがわれる一首である。この詩の主人公は川魚をとる漁師らしい。柳宗元の「漁翁」も同様の趣向だが、詩人はその姿に俗世を離れて自然の中に溶け込んだ隠者の理想型を見て、自身を投影するのである。 「江村」は、川のほとりの村というほどの意味だが、長江や湘江のような大きな川を想像してもよいだろう。中国の川は、日本人の認識を超えるほど大きい。今でこそ汚染や水量枯渇のため見るに耐えないが、昔の中国の川の風景は、さぞや美しかっただろうと想像する。「即事」は、ふとした事に寄せて作ったという程度の意味。 その漁師は、一日の業を終えて戻ってきたが、船を岸辺につなぐこともしない。月が落ちれば、そこは星と銀河の大宇宙。漁師が休む船は、もはやその宇宙の一部となって、どこへ流れていこうともかまわない、という。 この上の解説は蛇足であろうから、もう止めにすべきだが、「蘆花」についてだけ付言すると、これはススキの穂のような形状で、決して美しい花などではない。日本の徳富蘆花も自身の名(号)についてそう言っているように、ここは「美しい花」を求めなくてよいのである。Description: The inscription is taken from a poem by the Tang Dynasty poet Shiku Akebono entitled "Jiangcun sokuji. The poem is based on a poem by the Tang Dynasty poet Shiku Akebono, entitled "The Moon Falls in the Jiangchon Village and the Wind Blows Away, Just as the Reed Blossoms Blow. The moon has set in the village, and I can hardly bear to sleep. The wind may blow away for a night, but I will still be beside the shallow water of the reeds and flowers. The poem goes on to say. I stopped fishing and came back, but I did not feel like tying the boat to the shore. The moon had set over the riverside village, and it was a good time to sleep. I don't care if the wind blows overnight and the boat in which I sleep is swept away. It will be drifting somewhere on the shallow waters where reeds bloom. The author, Shiku Akebono (ca. 740 - 790), was a Chinese poet of the Middle Tang Dynasty. His family name was Shiku, which is rare in China. Although he worked as a local official for a time, he never rose in the ranks of society, and his life was not only simple but also quite impoverished. He wandered around Hunan Province. However, he seemed to be a man with a fastidious character who did not flirt with authority, and he seemed to have accepted such a life. This poem is one that well expresses the author's mindset. The hero of this poem seems to be a fisherman who catches river fish. The poet sees in this figure the ideal of a hermit who has left the mundane world and blended into nature, and he projects himself onto the figure. Jiangcun" means a village by a river, but one can also imagine a large river such as the Yangtze or the Xiangjiang. China's rivers are much larger than Japanese people realize. Although nowadays they are unbearable to see due to pollution and depletion of water, I imagine that the scenery of rivers in China must have been very beautiful in the old days. The word "Sokujiki" means "to make on a moment's notice. The fisherman returns after a day's work and does not even tie his boat to the shore. When the moon falls, it is a macrocosm of stars and galaxies. The boat on which the fisherman rests is now part of that universe, and he does not care where it goes. The above commentary is probably a bit of a long shot, so I should stop now, but let me just add that the "reed flower" is shaped like an ear of silver grass and is by no means a beautiful flower. As Tokutomi Roka of Japan said about his own name, there is no need to seek for "beautiful flowers" here.
