- 作品解説: 本作は描いた紙が酸化しているため、描かれた当初の色調が変化してしまっている。わずかに上辺に空の水色が見え、当初は晴れた景色であったようだ。木製の小舟を手前中央に配し、その向こうに海岸線、そして稲村ケ崎の海岸と、水色で塗りつぶされているのは江の島、さらに向こうに見えるのは伊豆半島なのであろう。手前を重厚に、遠方は軽やかに処理されており、その対比が見どころのひとつとなっている。Description: This work has been altered in its original coloring due to oxidation of the paper on which it was painted. The sky is slightly light blue at the upper edge, suggesting that the original scene was sunny. A small wooden boat is placed in the center of the foreground, with the coastline beyond, the beach at Inamuragasaki, Enoshima Island painted in light blue, and the Izu Peninsula visible further beyond. The contrast between the heavy foreground and the light background is one of the highlights of the work.
