- 作品解説: 全体に淡い調子で川のある景色が描かれている。簡易な橋には何かを背負った人物が渡ろうとしていて、この部分だけがシルエットのような濃さとなっている。空以外の場所は、刷毛などを用いず点描に近いかたちで水彩筆が用いられる。一般的な水彩画と比べて塗り重ね部分が少ないのが特色とも言え、そのために色彩は濁らず純度が高く、さらにちぎり絵のような素朴な効果も持ち合わせている。Description: The overall tone of this work is light, depicting a view of a river. A figure carrying something on his back is about to cross a simple bridge, and only this part of the painting has a silhouette-like density. The watercolor brushes are used in a manner similar to pointillism, without the use of brushes or other tools, except for the sky. Compared to ordinary watercolor paintings, there are fewer layers of paint, which is a distinctive characteristic of this work, and because of this, the colors are not muddy and have a high purity.
