- 作品解説: 本作も 《カーニュ風景》 (no.1-10) と同様、鉛筆による簡単なアウトラインのスケッチの後、空とそれ以外を大きく塗り分け、その後細部の描写を行っている。大きく掴んで少しずつ細部へと進む方法なので、無駄がない。一部教会の塔の周辺などに明るい水色が加えられているが、三宅の作品にはこのような修正が多く、かなり後に手を加えた可能性がある。歴史ある村の教会の雰囲気がよく出ている作品である。Description: As in "Kahnu Landscape" (no.1-10), this work, after a simple outline sketch in pencil, is painted largely in the sky and other areas, followed by the depiction of details. This method of grasping a large area and gradually moving on to the details makes for a lean approach. Bright light blue has been added to some areas, such as around the church tower, but Miyake's work is full of such corrections, and it is possible that he made these alterations much later. This work well captures the atmosphere of a historic village church.
