- 作品解説: 三宅克己は5回目のヨーロッパの旅から帰朝した1926（大正15）年に神奈川県足柄下郡に新居を得て、そこでしばしば真鶴湾の風景を描いた。白い絵具で修正した跡が数か所あるが、こうした修正も三宅の作品には散見される。おそらく県立美術館所蔵の《箱根双子岳》と同時代の作品であろう。Description: Katsumi Miyake returned from his fifth trip to Europe in 1926 and found a new home in Ashigarashita-gun, Kanagawa Prefecture, where he often painted scenes of Manazuru Bay. Miyake often painted the scenery of Manazuru Bay there. Miyake's work is probably contemporary with "Hakone Futagodake" in the collection of the Kanagawa Prefectural Museum of Art.
