Notes
Telephone stand installed in the second-floor study of the Asakamiya residence. It was designed by Henri Lapin, who was involved in the construction of the interior design, and is thought to have been produced together with the desk, chair, and carpet also placed in the study. Walnut was used for the wood, and the symmetry of the wood grain stands out beautifully. An electric light was installed in the upper part of the telephone stand to illuminate the hand even when it was dark.
