- 作品解説: マルセイユとニースの間に位置するサントロペ。夏はリゾート地としての賑わいを見せる。港に浮かんだヨットや、カラフルな服を着こなして街をあるく人の姿から、とりわけ富裕層が街を利用し楽しんでいることが容易に想像できる。町の明るさや華やかさを表現するため、野口は画面上での混色をなるべく控えて目に色が飛び込んでくるように工夫している。Description: Saint-Tropez is located between Marseille and Nice. In summer, it is a bustling resort area. From the sight of yachts floating in the harbor and people walking around the town dressed in colorful clothes, it is easy to imagine that the town is used and enjoyed especially by the wealthy. In order to express the brightness and glamor of the town, Noguchi has tried to avoid mixing colors on the screen as much as possible so that the colors jump out at the viewer's eyes.
