「清水南山」『日本美術年鑑』昭和22～26年版(138頁)帝室技芸員、芸術院会員として彫金界の元老であつた南山清水亀蔵は、12月7日腹膜炎のため練馬区の自宅で逝去した。年74。明治8年3月30日広島県豊田郡に生れ、明治29年東京美術学校彫金科を卒業、同年11月研究科に入つて加納夏雄、海野勝珉につき、さらに32年9月には塑造科に入学、藤田文蔵に師事した。35年研究科修了後は自営して彫金にはげみ、明治42年6月から香川県立工芸学校に奉職して約6年にわたつた。...
