陶芸家、日本芸術院会員、文化勲章受賞者板谷波山は10月10日直腸ガンのため自宅で死去した。享年91才。略年譜明治5年(1872)　3月3日、茨城県下館市に生まれる。本名嘉七。生家は醤油醸造業を営む旧家で、父善吉は半癡と号し風流文事を愛し南画を描いた。母は宇多子、波山はその三男である。明治15年(1882)　7月、父善吉没す。明治18年(1885)　下館小学校卒業。明治20年(1887)　上京し成城...
