「飯塚琅玕斎」『日本美術年鑑』昭和34年版(157頁)日本工芸会理事、元日展参事、竹工芸界の重鎮飯塚琅玕斎は、12月17日急性心筋硬塞症のため、東京都文京区の自宅で逝去した。享年68才。本名弥之助。明治23年3月15日栃木市に生れた。家は代々竹芸を業とし琅玕斎も12才の時竹工を志し、父飯塚鳳翁に竹芸を学んだ。13才の折上京、書道、生花にも励んだ。制作活動は明治末から没年までにわたり、作品は各博覧会に、また帝展に工芸部設置後は帝展を主とし、続いて昭和期...
