「赤塚自得」『日本美術年鑑』昭和12年版(142頁)帝国美術院会員赤塚自得は胃潰瘍を病み、芝区の自宅で加療中のところ2月1日逝去した。享年66。葬儀は同月3日芝教会で行はれた。赤塚家は代々漆芸を以て家業とし、平左衛門を名乗り、彼は七代目に当る。蒔絵を専門とし現代漆芸界の巨匠であつた。明治4年東京市芝区浜松町に生る。同18年狩野久信に就て日本画を、翌年蒔絵を先考に学ぶ。20年勧学義塾の中等科に学んだ。尚明治43年には寺崎広業に就て日本画を、又同45年...
