APJ Bibliography database has been launched

We have newly created the APJ Bibliography.

It will continue to be expanded with bibliographic information referenced in the Japanese Museum Collections Search (SHŪZŌ), “Contemporary Japanese Art Exhibitions from 1945,” and other publications introduced in “Reading Lists.” The current number of records is 1,765.

Each bibliographic detail page now includes a “Find in libraries” section. For some items, links to their bibliographic records on services such as the NDL Search (operated by the National Diet Library) and CiNii (operated by the National Institute of Informatics) are provided..

In addition, the English-translated publications provided on this site (produced through the National Center for Art Research Translation Project and its predecessor, the Agency for Cultural Affairs’ Art Platform Project) are now easier to find. By checking the “English translation” option in the keyword search screen, you can filter the search results accordingly.

We hope this will support further research, including locating materials.
