- 軍服姿の男性騎馬像。モデルは当時陸軍軍人であった朝香宮鳩彦王。作者の池田は、動物彫刻に優れ、特に馬を好んで取り上げた。明治天皇、昭和天皇の御料馬の制作を行うなど皇室とのゆかりが深かった。1933年(昭和8)には、北白川宮成久王や東久邇宮稔彦王、竹田宮恒徳王らの各御乗馬像を製作している。Statue of a male cavalryman in military uniform. The model is King Hatohiko Asakamiya, a soldier in the army at the time. The artist, Ikeda, excelled in animal sculpture, and was particularly fond of horses. In 1933, Ikeda created statues of Prince Narihisa Kitashirakawa, Prince Toshihiko Higashikuni, Prince Tsunenori Takeda, and other members of the Imperial Household.
