- 江戸城大奥の年中行事や女中たちの生活を描いた錦絵。明治時代になると、それまで幕府の規制で描くことができなかった江戸城内の様子が出版できるようになった。Nishiki-e depicting annual events and the lives of the ladies in the inner chambers of Edo Castle. In the Meiji period (1868-1912), it became possible to publish images of the interior of Edo Castle, which until then could not be depicted due to restrictions imposed by the shogunate.
