- 歯が抜けて食事をとることができなくなった姑に自分の乳をふくませて養う唐夫人の孝養を描きます。椅子に腰かける唐夫人と姑や、話の筋に関係なく描かれる階段状の基台や幔幕、ターバンを巻いた左側の男性、背景に見える煙や荷を運ぶ動物など、蘭書の挿絵から抜き出したと推測される要素が散見されます。。<BR/><br/><br/>【江戸の絵画】It depicts the filial piety of Madame Tang, who feeds her mother-in-law, who is unable to eat because of missing teeth, by suckling her own milk. The painting is full of elements that could have been taken from an illustration in a Dutch book, such as Mrs. Tang sitting on a chair with her mother-in-law, the staircase base and drapery, the man on the left with a turban, the smoke in the background, and the animals carrying a load. <BR/><BR/><BR/>[Edo Paintings
