- 書き込み等:1,300年前、防人たちが鹿島の神に武運と平安の祈願を終え、この大船津の河岸から哀歓を秘め任地に旅立って行った。大樹は芦の茂る波間に織りなす歴史の光りと蔭、そして去来する雲の流れを樹肌に刻み込んで来たのではなかろうか。Description: 1,300 years ago, after praying to the god of Kashima for military fortune and peace, the warriors departed from the banks of Ofunatsu to their posts with sorrow and joy. The tree may have been carved with the light and shade of history woven between the waves of ashes, and the passing clouds on its bark.
