- 朝香宮家旧蔵の旅行用ワードローブ・トランク。現所蔵者が朝香鳩彦氏（元・朝香宮鳩彦王）より直接譲り受けた品と伝わる。このことを裏付けるように、朝香宮夫妻滞仏中の支出記録である「受領證綴」（当館所蔵）の中に、1924年7月18日付でパリのシャンゼリゼ大通り70番地にあった鞄店「ルイ・ヴィトン」で「ワードローブ・トランク」と「靴ケース」を購入した記録が確認できる。当該資料は受領證の記載内容に合致し、オプション品扱いであった靴ケースもトランク内に残されていることから、この時に買い求め、帰国時に持ち帰った品そのものであると判断される。Travel wardrobe trunk formerly owned by the Asakamiya family. It is said that the present owner received this item directly from Mr. Hatohiko Asaka (former King Hatohiko Asakamiya). As if to confirm this, in the "Receipt Certificate" (in the museum's collection), which is a record of the expenditures of Prince and Princess Asaka during their stay in France, there is a record of the purchase of a wardrobe trunk and shoe case at the Louis Vuitton bag store at 70 Avenue des Champs-Elysées in Paris, dated July 18, 1924. Since the materials match the description on the receipt and the shoe case, which was treated as an optional item, is still in the trunk, it is judged to be the very items purchased at that time and brought back to Japan upon his return.
