- 朝香宮邸の書斎に置かれた机、椅子、絨毯。電話台を含めた揃い物としてアンリ・ラパンが書斎に合わせてデザインしたものと考えられる。1933年1月にラパンの手がけた装飾パネル一式と共に、フランスから輸入されたものと考えられ、特に机はフランスの日刊新聞に「調度品のひとつである仕事用机は回転式で、時間帯を選ばず、太陽の光の中で仕事が出来るようになっている。」として機能面を挙げて紹介がなされている。木部の美しさを際立たせつつ装飾を最小限にとどめたシンプルなデザインにはピエール・シャローの影響が窺え、30年代を代表するアール・デコの家具である。 机は半円形の机面の両側に方形の扉付抽斗が張り出した幾何学的な形、ウォルナットの木目を活かしてデザインされたアール・デコ様式の机で、本体下部に車輪、台座にレールが取り付けられており回転させることが出来る構造となっている。抽斗には桜系の木材が使われており、底板はガラスである。机面には殿下居間の壁紙（エドゥアール・ベネディクトスがデザインした「メトロポリス」）と同じ柄の布を敷き、その上に厚みのあるガラス板を載せている。絨毯にはラパンのイニシャル「AR」を用いたアナグラムが施されている。Desk, chair, and carpet in the study of the Asakamiya residence.
