- アール・デコを代表する画家、版画家のフランソワ＝ルイ・シュミットによる挿絵本。本作は、シュミットの没した翌年、彼の原画をもとに息子のテオによって完成された。テオは、1924年から父のアトリエのディレクションを行っていた。125冊の限定で制作されたもので、木版刷りによる大版挿絵や装飾を含んでいる。ケース入りで見返しに著者のサインが入る。This is a book of illustrations by François-Louis Schmidt, a leading Art Deco painter and printmaker. This work was completed by his son Theo, based on his original drawings, the year after Schmidt's death. Theo had been directing his father's studio since 1924; it was produced in a limited edition of 125 copies and includes large woodcut illustrations and decorations. Cased and signed by the author on the endpaper.
