- 1912年11月にリュシアン・ヴォージェル（Lucien Vogel, 1886～1954）によって創刊されたファッション誌である。第一次世界大戦による一時休刊を経て、1925年12月まで計70号・69冊が刊行された。タイトルは「上品で美しい雑誌」の意で、副題には「art, modes et frivolites（芸術・ファッションと婦人装身具）」とあり、アートとモードの融合した高級婦人雑誌であった。当時のパリ・モードの中で最も影響力のあったファッション誌とも称されている。当館が所蔵するのは、1924-1925年に刊行された『ガゼット・デュ・ボン・トン』のうち、アール・デコ博覧会特集号を含む7号分である。バルビエやルパープといった、アール・デコ期のグラフィック・デザインを代表するイラストレーターを起用したポショワールが多数収録されている。It was a fashion magazine founded by Lucien Vogel (1886-1954) in November 1912. After a temporary suspension of publication due to World War I, a total of 70 issues and 69 volumes were published until December 1925. The title of the magazine means "Elegant and Beautiful Magazine," and its subtitle was "Art, modes et frivolites (Art, Fashion and Ladies' Accessories)," making it a high-class women's magazine that combined art and mode. It was a high-end women's magazine that combined art and mode. It is also regarded as the most influential fashion magazine of its time in the Paris mode of the time. The museum collection contains seven issues of "Gazette du Bon Ton" published between 1924 and 1925, including a special issue on the Art Deco Exposition. The collection includes a number of pocheirs featuring illustrators such as Barbier and Lepape, who were representative of graphic design in the Art Deco period.
