- 作品解説: 村上が好んだ夕暮れ風景であろう。遠くに森があり、手前にも覆いかぶさるように右手に木が生えている。木々に囲まれた広場になっている場所には様々な色彩が踊っている。それらは人の往来を描いているのであろうか。そして、手前にはテーブルのようなものがあるが、それも私たちには断定できないあやふやな形態となっているところが、不安を誘いつつ想像力を掻き立てるところとなっている。Description: This is probably Murakami's favorite sunset scene. There is a forest in the distance, with trees growing to the right, as if covering the foreground as well. Various colors are dancing in the open space surrounded by trees. They may depict the comings and goings of people. There is also a table-like object in the foreground, but its vague form, which we cannot determine, is both unsettling and stimulates the imagination.
