- 作品解説: 鬱蒼と茂る森の中、手前に広場のような空間があり、何人かの往来を認めることができる。 場所は村上が何枚か手掛けたパリのフォンテンブローの森のようにも見えるがわからない。紙の上に描かれた、村上にしては薄塗りの油絵で、その走るようなタッチと色彩の微妙な変化が魅力的な作品となっている。Description: In the middle of a dense forest, there is a square-like space in the foreground where some people can be seen coming and going. The location looks like the Fontainebleau Forest in Paris, where Murakami has done several paintings, but we are not sure. Painted on paper, this oil painting is thin for Murakami, and its running touch and subtle changes in color make it an appealing work.
