- 作品解説: 画面を水平にし、流動性のある絵具を垂らし、それが乾かないうちに下の濃紺色を利用してさまざまな模様や形態を表出させている。ギリシャ風景と題名にあるが、左側の模様は人物の顔に見えないこともない。村上の技法の引き出しの多さに驚かされるが、どのような技法であっても村上らしさが出ているところにこの画家の底知れない実力とこだわりを感じる。Description: The artist has leveled the painting and dripped fluid paint on it, using the dark blue color underneath to create various patterns and forms before the paint dries. Although the title says "Greek Landscape," the pattern on the left side of the work looks like a person's face. The artist's ability to draw from a wide range of techniques is astonishing, and the fact that the work is unmistakably Murakami, no matter what technique is used, shows the artist's unfathomable ability and commitment to his craft.
