- 作品解説: 絵具に白色顔料か何かを混ぜて描いたと思われる。街シリーズとなっていなければ、何を描いたのか見当がつかないが、それをヒントにすると、建物に比較的近接して描いたのかもしれない。中央に三角屋根の建物、その手前両脇にも建物らしき壁が描かれている。かたちが抽象化され、絵具の材質感を前面に押し出したこの絵画は、アンフォルメルを起点とした1950年代から60年代にかけての絵画の流れを鋭敏に感じ取っている。Work description: probably painted with a mixture of white pigment or something similar in the paint. If it were not for the city series, we would have no idea what he painted, but if we take that as a hint, he may have painted this relatively close to a building. A triangular-roofed building is depicted in the center of the painting, with building-like walls on both sides in front of it. This painting, which is abstracted in form and has a strong sense of the materiality of the paint, is keenly aware of the trend in painting from the 1950s to the 1960s, which originated with the Unformel movement.
