- 作品解説: 題名にある「米法」とは、中国宋代の画家米芾（べいふつ）・米友仁父子に由来する、山や樹木などを墨の横点を連ねて表す技法。画面左上には、雲や烟（けむり）の表現は米法でないと記されている。「平遠」は近くの山から遠くの山を眺望する山水画の遠近法のひとつ。Description: The title of this work refers to the technique of depicting mountains and trees with a series of horizontal ink dots, which originated with the Chinese Song dynasty painters Beifu and Yuhito Yoneyu, who were father and son. In the upper left corner of the painting, it is noted that clouds and smoke are not represented by the Yone method. Heien" is one of the perspective techniques used in landscape painting, in which a view of a distant mountain is seen from a nearby mountain.
