- 作品解説: 左右一対になる本作には、いずれにも同じ人物がほぼ同じ方向から描かれている。右手の掛軸（右幅）には、月を眺めながら船上で談笑する三人の姿として、左手の掛軸（左幅）には崖の上から月に見入っている姿である。画面左上に「蘇公」と記されている通り、この人物は北宋の詩人・蘇東坡（蘇軾）で、三国志の激戦を繰り広げた長江（揚子江）赤壁の古戦場を、秋に友人と共に訪れた際の情景と、冬に訪れた際の前後2篇を詩に綴っている。翠雲はこの有名な詩を元に、のびやかで簡潔な筆致により崖や木々を表現しながら、抒情性を生み出している。Description: This pair of left and right hand scrolls both depict the same figures from nearly the same direction. The right-hand scroll (right width) depicts three people chatting on a boat while gazing at the moon, while the left-hand scroll (left width) shows them gazing at the moon from a cliff. As indicated by the inscription "Su Dong" in the upper left corner of the screen, this person is the Northern Song Dynasty poet Su Dongpo (Su Shi), who wrote two poems, one in autumn when he and a friend visited the ancient battlefield of Red Cliff on the Yangtze River (Yangtze River), the scene of the fierce battle in the Three Kingdoms, and the other in winter. Based on this famous poem, Cui Yun creates lyricism while describing cliffs and trees with spontaneous and concise strokes.
