- 作品解説: 山の頂上から下に向かってジグザグと鋸の歯のように谷が入り組んでいる。構図に風景を適応させたかのようなわざとらしさを感じさせるが、それを翠雲は意図的におこなった可能性がある。遠くの山や、木々の密集した感じなど、朱色を薄く塗って調子を整える特徴的な技法がこの作品にも使われている。Description: The valleys zigzag downward from the top of the mountain like saw-tooths. The composition seems deliberate, as if the landscape had been adapted to the composition, but it is possible that Suiun did this intentionally. The characteristic technique of applying a thin layer of vermilion to set the tone of the distant mountains and dense trees is also used in this work.
