- 作品解説: 緑色の空に燦燦と輝く太陽が黄色と朱色で大きく描かれ、その下には太陽や空の色彩を反映したかのような色彩で建物や水面が描かれている。右下には配列はことなるがイタリア国旗と同じ赤、白、緑の塊が見える。ほぼ同じ構図の小作品の存在がわかっているが、そのタイトルは《ベニスの太陽》（10号）であるため、本作もヴェニスを取材したものであると思われる。本作の出来がよかったため小品で何作かアレンジしたのではないだろうか。Description: The sun shining brilliantly in the green sky is depicted in large yellow and vermilion, and below it are buildings and the surface of the water in colors that seem to reflect the colors of the sun and sky. In the lower right corner, there is a mass of red, white, and green, the same colors as the Italian flag, although in a different arrangement. A smaller work with an almost identical composition is known to exist, titled "The Sun of Venice" (No. 10), so it is assumed that this work is also based on Venice. It is likely that he arranged several small works because of the good performance of this work.
