Description: This work is thought to be a painting of the area upstream from the Uji Bridge on the Uji River to Lake Biwa. The river surface is painted with a relatively thick brush in a relaxed manner, while the shore and mountains are carefully colored with a fine brush. When the painting was first created, it was probably painted in a deeper shade of blue.
