- 作品解説: 取材地や制作年は不明。水辺の写生を好む柏亭の、気取らない水彩画である。鉛筆での下描きもおおまかな形だけをとり、それほど色数の多くない絵具を使って、水分量を調節しながら色味を複雑に、そして柔らかく表現している。茶色の枠線がわずかに見えるため、挿絵などに使用するために描いたのであろうか。Description: The location and year of production are unknown. This is an unpretentious watercolor painting by Kashiwatei, who likes to sketch by the water. The artist used only a rough sketch in pencil, and used paint with a limited number of colors to create complex and soft colors by adjusting the amount of water in the paint. The slight brown border can be seen, suggesting that the artist drew it for use as an illustration or something similar.
